Welcome back to another devlog for Prison Survival!
First of all – HUGE thanks to everyone who's currently participating in the playtests! You're helping us a ton, and your feedback is pure gold!

Prison trading
So yes – in our game, survival isn’t just about keeping your head down and avoiding bad looks. It’s also about making connections. Trading snacks for favors. Swapping meds for smokes. Smuggling in that “very illegal but very needed” item past the guards without getting your face reintroduced to the floor.
Trade in real prisons is a whole ecosystem, and we’re building our little prison system too!

BUT! In the current playtest, this system is only lightly represented. Think of it as a little teaser - just a taste.
The real dirty deals are coming in the demo and the full release, where we’ll be introducing deeper trade mechanics, more contraband "items", and more “creative” ways to sneak them past the guards.

Remember "Freeman" from the last devlog? He is one of the traders!
Let’s be honest, what’s prison life without a little chaos and a guy trying to sell you painkillers wrapped in toilet paper?

Catching with "stuff" can occur in worse punishment than ever!
