Highlights
Card Trading
The merchant has landed on your island with his boat and now offers his services. In addition to the regular deck draw (which you can now reroll for diamonds), you'll have access to a new trade and exchange menu. This merchant lets you trade unwanted or excess cards for buildings you currently need or simply want to construct. But his services don't come entirely free.
Fresh Waters
The seas and lakes of Terras now have much more depth! :) We've completely reworked the water visuals from the seabed up. There's now much more to discover - or you can just watch the lively activity. Ocean resources are also easier to spot now. But beware: With new opportunities come greater challenges in strategically planning your fishing fleet!
Scenarios, Puzzles & Quests
The update brings three new scenarios, five new puzzle-terras, and revisions to existing scenarios and puzzles. Some quests in scenarios now count retroactively, and the Marshland Deck gets its own puzzles. We've also overhauled the quest user interface for better clarity and readability.
New Buildings
Some buildings have been replaced to better fit with decks. The old versions aren't gone though - they'll remain available as deckless buildings. Plenty of new building complexes with unique effects and awesome graphics are joining the game, including the first river-utilizing complex - happy exploring!
New Resources
New, more-or-less unique resources will enrich the game world with their own special atmosphere. While many will benefit from them, some might occasionally get in the way.
Technology
With update 1.2 TIDE, we've not only expanded our development environment but also upgraded our processes and software to the latest standards. By updating to Unity 6 and its new capabilities (which we haven't even fully explored yet), we're delivering numerous performance improvements and optimizations.
