Stability
- The game will now throw an error on startup if your hardware does not support Shader Model 2.0b. It wouldn't work regardless before this change, this is just making it clear as to why you might not be able to run it!
Gameplay
- Fixed a bug where selected melee would reset to defaults every restart
- Changed Disguise duration to 20 seconds
- Added manual deactivation for Disguise by pressing the Disguise button again
- Changed default Bear Trap count from 2 to 3
- Reduced normal Taser stun duration from 6 to 3 seconds, added a separate command for Detective Taser stun duration (t_taser_detective_stun_duration)
- Updated default Poison Dart count from 4 to 6
- Increased top speed of Spectator Ghosts and reduced their acceleration
- Spiked Bat is now a single-hit gadget
- Renamed [i]t_weapon_bat_[/i] console commands to [i]t_weapon_melee_[/i], because they affect all melee weapons
- Removed death sound from being killed with Silenced Pistol, it is now part of weapon script instead of being hardcoded
- Poison Dart hit sound is now spatialized (meaning it originates from the player who got hit, instead of being inside your ears)
- Silenced Pistol can now be scanned by the Detective
- Swapped Detective Locator and Doctor Locator abilities for one Team Locator ability
- Decreased damage of all default guns by 1
- Changed Silenced Pistol damage from 23 to 15 and 1.6x headshot multiplier to 3.0x
- Increased Finger Gun player push force
- Changed Bat and Stiletto movement speed, damage and attack rate
- Updated headshot death sounds and poisoned sound
- Changed default max rounds from 7 to 6
- Weapons now drop from player's hands in third person, rather than the center of their model
- Changed default Health Station health from 80 to 150
- Increased Health Station heal rate from 3 HP per second to 6 HP per second
- Updated player hitbox damage multipliers: chest 1.1x -> 0.95x, stomach 1.05x -> 1.1x, arms 0.5x -> 0.65x, legs 0.75x -> 0.8x
- Updated Thompson shoot sound
- Using Finger Gun's hands push will now apply some small damage to non-player entities
- Added separate Spiked Bat player hit sound
- Reduced default Don spawn time at the start of the round from 5 to 4 seconds ([i]t_clue_objective_start[/i])
- Added a spatialized "progress bar" sound, which will play when you try to do any action that requires you to hold your USE button: defusing a bomb, reviving a player, toggling the Power Supply, etc
- Fixed Health Station being unusable by Doctors
- Fixed a bug when players would be stuck in "you are being revived" mode if a player who was reviving has left the server while reviving, and potentially other ability/gadget-related issues with players disconnecting mid-action
UI
- Updated chat message when someone joins the game when pseudonames are disabled
- Changed HUD events duration on-screen from 7 to 9 seconds, added a separate command to tweak important HUD events duration on-screen which is 10 seconds by default
- Updated Play or Spectate menu: moved loadout to be a separate button, and pressing Play now instantly puts you in the game
- Updated Detective Scan HUD event icons
- Fixed HUD carried item icon overlapping 6th weapon slot (gadget slot)
- Fixed a bug where HUD "you are being revived" progress would go out of bounds due to server lag/crash
