Shadows over Crete DLC – Mission 1 Dev Insights

Mission 1 - Operation Demeter

[b]Commandos![/b]

With the upcoming release of [i]Shadows over Crete[/i] next week, we are excited to share some insights into the first mission featured in this new [i]Commandos: Origins DLC[/i]. This mission introduces fresh ideas that we can’t wait to show.

[b]A Mission Built Around Vehicles[/b]

For the first time in [i]Commandos: Origins[/i], drivable vehicles will take centre stage. You will have to drive your way through a German-occupied coastal region, collecting important supplies for the Greek Resistance. Protecting your transport is essential. If your vehicle is destroyed, you will fail the mission, so careful planning and tactical awareness are necessary.

[b]Multiple Approaches and Tactical Freedom[/b]

In this operation, you will command a unique combination of Commandos. Use the Marine to infiltrate from the water or rely on the Driver to slip in from behind enemy lines by climbing poles and flanking defences. The mission encourages creativity, giving you the freedom to choose how your Commandos solve the challenges ahead.
