All New Areas to Explore
Breaker’s Reach is a brand-new biome situated in the outer regions of the underground. It’s unclear who or what founded this mechanical biome, filled with crab-like geobots and the remnants of advanced systems and machinery. There are plenty of secrets and treasures to be found here, but they are well-guarded. Make sure you’ve got the right tools, armour, and equipment to contend with the inorganic lifeforms deep within.
As you explore Breaker’s Reach, you may also stumble upon pockets of an unusual and otherworldly sub-biome. These breaches in the very fabric of spacetime reveal a glimpse into something far beyond the underground known only as the Void. Here, you’ll find unusual plantlife in the form of Muddled Moss and Glowing Mushrooms, as well as unusual and powerful variations on some familiar enemies. Keep an eye out for Void Cavelings, Void Caveling Shamans, and Void Caveling Brutes, each with their own mysterious new powers.
Colossal New Bosses
New biomes mean new bosses and we promise that you’ve never seen anything in the underground like what’s waiting for you in Breaker’s Reach. S.A.H.A.B.A.R is a GIANT robot, like something out of an anime movie, complete with laser-targeted energy beams and special abilities that’ll put your timing to the test!
Giant robots are one thing, but what about an enemy from another dimension? Meet Oblidra the Void Lord! This extradimensional hydra calls upon the power of the Void for devastating attacks. Like with all of our hydra bosses, you won’t just be fighting Oblidra when you battle, but also its “ghost” forms, making this a truly formidable foe indeed.
Advanced Machinery and Automation
We’ve added a bunch of new electronics in this update, and we can’t wait to see all the fun and creative ways you use them. From farming automations such as the Robot Farm Arm and Seed Extractor to everyday automations like the Item Collector, Critter Catcher, and Proximity Sensor, life just got a little easier in the underground. Many of these new additions can be crafted via the all-new Advanced Automation Table, so boot up your generators, stock up on Electrical Wire, and enjoy!

Echo Maps
The underground is vast with many unique areas and points of interest, and we’ve just made finding some of them a little easier thanks to the addition of Echo Maps. Consumed upon use, these new items scan the map for specific scenes, adding a marker to your map to guide you on your way. You’ll be able to use Echo Maps to find points of interest like arenas, temples, merchants and more.
Flamethrower, Oil, Miniguns, and Mortars
We’ve gone a little wild with new tools, equipment, and weapons in this update, Explorers! Those of you who follow us on social media will have undoubtedly seen the Flamethrower in all its glory, but we’ve also added flammable oil to the game for all you pyromaniacs! If that wasn’t exciting enough, you’ll be able to add miniguns, mortars, new grenades, and even a remote bomb-detonator to your arsenals. We’re sure you’ll use all this extra firepower responsibly ????
Armour, Decorations, Destructibles, and More!
Five new armour sets (including PAJAMAS!), a whole host of industrial themed decorative items (including some very steam-punk looking tables and lamp posts), new destructibles to, well…destroy, and MORE await in Void & Voltage! We’ve added a whole host of new custom scenes, a few new critters, puzzle rooms with special loot drops, a new mining minion and tome for all you summoners out there, new accessories, new achievements, the list goes on and on. As always, we encourage you to dive in and uncover all our new content yourselves, but we’ve provided a full set of patch notes here too!
