Medal of Honor kehrt zurück an die Front ... in einen modernen Krieg. Erstmals in der 10-jährigen Geschichte der Serie verlässt Medal of Honor die Bühne des 2. Weltkriegs und versetzt den Spieler in das vom Krieg zerrüttete Afghanistan. Zum ersten Mal übernimmt in diesem aktuellen Setting ein Tier 1-Agent die Hauptrolle. Tier 1 ist eine relativ unbekannte Einheit unter dem direkten Befehl der National Command Authority der USA, die Missionen übernimmt, die außer ihr niemand erfüllen kann. Das Entwicklungsteam hat bereits in der Frühphase der Entwicklung mit Tier 1-Agenten aus der U.S. Special Operations Community zusammengearbeitet, um das moderne Kriegserlebnis möglichst realistisch nachzustellen. Vor dem Hintergrund der rauen afghanischen Landschaft bildet Medal of Honor das moderne Militär durch die Linse einer kleinen Gruppe fiktiver Charaktere ab. (EA)

Spielbeschreibung: Unter dem Kommando der nationalen Oberbefehlsgewalt agiert eine derzeit noch unbekannte, handverlesene Einheit von Kämpfern - immer dann zur Stelle, wenn eine Mission keinesfalls scheitern darf. Ihr Name ist Tier 1.

Mehr als 2 Millionen Soldaten, Matrosen, Piloten und Marines tragen eine Uniform. Von ihnen unterstehen etwa 50.000 der direkten Befehlsgewalt der Leitung für spezielle Einsätze. Die Tier 1 Operator agieren jedoch auf einer anderen Ebene. Ihre Anzahl beschränkt sich auf ein paar wenige Hundert. Sie sind fleischgewordene Präzisionsinstrumente des Krieges, Experten der Gewaltanwendung.

Das neue Medal of Honor wurde von den Leitern der Tier 1 Operator inspiriert und mitentwickelt. Der Spieler tritt in die Fußstapfen dieser Krieger und wendet deren einzigartige Fähigkeiten gegen einen neuen Feind an. Schauplatz ist das Kriegsgeschehen im heutigen Afghanistan.

Medal of Honor ist ein sehr gutes spiel. Es gibt abwechslungsreiche Missionen mal laut mal leise. Aber leider ist das spiel meiner Meinung nach zu kurz. Ich empfehle es aber sehr gerne weiter denn mir hat es viel Spaß gemacht.

Ach es war schön 8std nostalgischen Shooter zu genießen. Ich muss sagen das ich die Medal of Honor Titel schon immer etwas mehr mochte als alles was nach Call of Duty 2 gekommen ist.

Ich finde dieser Titel kann sich auch heute noch zeigen, und man kann es genießen. Zur Abwechslung muss ich sagen fand ich es sehr erfrischend mal wieder ein Lineares Gameplay zu spielen. Das keine 20+ Stunden Spielzeit benötigt.
Zur Story will ich hier auch nicht groß was sagen, es ist ein Medal of Honor, hier geht es um Krieg. Was aber wichtig zu sagen ist, ist das die Entwickler sich neben Fiktion auch an wahre fakten halten, etwas das bei Call of Duty leider irgendwann komplett weg gefallen ist.
So könnt ihr Wolfpack ( 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion) ein wenig googeln. Und ein klein wenig Hintergrund wissen zusammen tragen und euch evt ein paar Fragen zum Spiel beantwortet. Und das ist bei allen MoH Titeln so weswegen ich MoH schon immer bevorzugt habe.

Gebirgskampf im nahen Osten

Gameplay
In “Medal of Honor” kämpfen wir uns in der Kampagne durch viele Feinde und im Grunde ist das Spiel ein gewöhnlicher Ego-Shooter, der verstärkt auf Deckungskampf legt. In dem kurzen Singleplayer von etwa 4-5 Stunden kommt aber durchaus recht viel Abwechslung auf. So kämpfen wir uns durch verschiedene Gebiete, fordern Bombenangriffe an und führen Scharfschützenoperationen durch. Zudem ist das Spiel von vorne bis hinten gescriptet. Der Multiplayer ist, wie man es wohl bei so einem eher unbekannten und älteren Spiel erwarten kann, ausgestorben.

Story
Wir schlüpfen in verschiedene Soldaten der “AFO”-Einheit, die jedoch alle gegen die Taliban oder Al-Qaida in Afghanistan kämpfen. Abgesehen von viel Action haben wir eigentlich eher Missionsziele als eine eigentliche Geschichte. Witzig war es aber, als ich von einem NPC Begleiter Munition angefordert habe, er mit 1000 (!) Kugeln gegeben hat und dann hatte das Team aufgrund der Story keine Munition mehr. Hmmm…

Grafik/Sound
Für ein Spiel von 2010 gibt es hier sicher Nichts zu beanstanden. Die Synchronsprecher sind auch ganz gut, gibt es wenig Außergewöhnliches.

Fazit
„Medal of Honor“ erinnert wie auch die älteren Teile der Reihe sehr an„Call of Duty“ oder „Battlefield“. Kein Wunder, ist ja auch mitunter dasselbe Entwicklerstudio. Ansonsten bietet das Spiel nur eine moderate Singleplayerkampagne, wobei auch viele neuere Spiele die Taliban und Afghanistan/Pakistan behandeln. Aufgrund des Alters und der kurzen, aber abwechlungsreichen Kampagne kann ich das Spiel eher für einen Angebotskauf empfehlen oder man sucht sich an dieser Stelle lieber eine Alternative.

This is a game that flew under my radar. And I wish I had discovered it sooner. This game is beautiful in it's simplicity. Linear campaign, with a back to basics feel to it. You're not looking for hidden items while you're being shot at, there's no achievements causing you to restart a level and do it a certain way. Just go from checkpoint to checkpoint and beat the level. It's almost therapeutic and refreshing. But the missions are by no means boring, with different elements to the mission themselves and the location, you're not experiencing the same thing twice.

I wish the single player was longer than it was, because I truly enjoyed every moment, but I am happy with what I got

Hands down one of the best games I've ever played. Had it on the Xbox 360 and loved it then. Got a PC and a steam account and this was one of the first games i downloaded. Absolute nastalga trip. would highly recommend this game to anybody. wish they did a remaster.

I originally had this game on console during the peak of MW2, Bad Company 2 and Black Ops. Not only do I remember it being the weakest of all the shooters of that remarkable era, it was actually a very bad game in its own right. I decided to revisit it on PC over a decade later and I can't safely say it hasn't aged well and remains utterly woeful in many regards.

Medal of Honor was an iconic brand when I was growing up but EA decided to reboot it to compete alongside Call of Duty and compliment Battlefield every other year. The series was back then aiming to be a modern shooter that would utilitse the Frostbite engine and along with Battlefield, both games would topple COD in its prime. We all know how that went..

The story is minimal, generic and incredibly boring as is the painful dialogue and tedious cutscenes. Combat is deeply unsatisfying with guns lacking punch and the AI being terrible. Locations are somewhat varied but all play out the same with very linear design and predictable enemy encounters. Visuals hold up to a degree but the game looks very bland.

Even at a deep discount, I cannot recommend this game. It is a stain on the once-legendary MoH name and is another series that EA have ultimately killed. It is by far one of the most plain and uninspiring shooters in existence and compared to games of that era, it is a disgrace really. I'd avoid even if you are remotely curious. This is not worth time or any money.

Man I remember the multiplayer for this game being sick back when I played it in beta all those years ago. Too bad its dead at this point, so I am strictly judging this game based on its single player, which is really all it can offer at this point. For 20 Dollars it is absolutely not worth the money, and I purchased it for like 5 bucks on a sale, so maybe wait until another sale comes around if you really are dying to play.

I’ve played every medal of honor game ever made previous to this game’s launch. MOHAA was my first multiplayer FPS game. Underground was the first single player FPS I ever played. This game is a series reboot that failed to meet the standards and did not make a splash in the competitive FPS market of the early 2010s. Call of Duty: Black Ops and DICE’s own Battlefield: Bad Company 2 launched that same year, both games that had a more complete single player and multiplayer packages.

I beat the game in about 4 hours. I wasn’t even blowing through it either, I was occasionally stuck on super frustrating little parts, which I will get to. I mean, I get it, the game shared its resources with DICE’s multiplayer to be only one part of the game’s total package. However, other games have done way better balancing the two modes. MoH’s single player has its moments but is ultimately bad. Titanfall 2 had a 5 hour single player campaign and I was cool with it because it was actually good, unlike MoH.

The game is centered around US Special Forces soldiers and they chatter nonstop and run up a mountain from one set piece action sequence to another along a single path killing enemies as they go. There are frequent sequences where you’re shooting a sniper rifle or a cannon or something and you’re basically clicking different “targets” other NPC’s mark. The game is sometimes very silly. The “realism” veneer is quickly lost and the “stealth action” sequences are a joke. Occasionally there are parts of the game where you need to wait for an event to trigger in order to move forward, and when you try really hard to push forward in fun and creative the ways, and the game punishes you for it. For example, there was a bunker full of enemies and I spent like 10 minutes trying to flank it in various ways, only to realize the game was killing me automatically when I crossed an invisible line. I was actually supposed to sit behind a rock while my NPC allies continued their non-stop chatter and eventually called in an airstrike on the bunker.

The voice acting is good but there’s just too much of it and it is not convincing. They are constantly and repetitively telling you what to do, including specific enemies to shoot during battles. They talk when sprinting up 10,000 foot elevation incline. The only female in the entire game was constantly being corrected and criticized, and crippled her helicopter almost immediately into the mission.

The single player fails to tell an engaging story, and instead makes some dusty old general in Washington D.C out to be the bad guy.

There are not many weapons and the gunplay is nothing special.

This game is not worth a playthrough today unless youre a diehard MoH fan like me. I do hope Warfighter makes it to steam tho.

Good shooter. Variety of locations like town, desert, mountain and snow where you shoot Talibs. Short single player campaign of 6.5 hours with an ending that touches you.

Medal of honor... I loved this story guys. Great war story but old school. if you like it old school soo you can take it honor medal. cutscenes are pretty impressive. I feeling so much team play in my heart. You must witness this war.

LINUX USERS BE AWARE

I bought the game through Steam, but I can't activate it. Origin client is buggy and Steam Play does not activate the game. EA Support did not reply to my ticket. Now I own a game I cannot play. Will never buy another EA game.

Steam needs to stop selling this game.

Multiplayer only works if you have the Origin version. Origin has an updater that allows you to login, redeem your key, and play online. You used to be able to redeem your steam key on origin to circumvent this issue, but that is no longer the case. Buy this on origin if you want to play.

(played 100% single player mode / no try of multiplayer)
Medal of Honor goes different way compare to last part of series. Now the issue is not world war 2 but mainly U.S. forces and nest of terrorism. So the first mission make me boring and not enjoy the game. At the end when I could reasume full playthrough I knew this is more film game and more emotional story than usual FPS. And it got me feeling of this a lot.
Peace for all.
I rate this for 8/10

This was my second playthrough after the first one way back on the Origin launcher. This is by far the best Afghanstan-themed FPS shooter on the market. It gives you this special FPS-flow and I finished it in one night. The campaign is short but which is perfectly fine for me. Multiplayer of course does not apply anymore in 2021, so do not look out for it here. Besides of this, with all the talks going on about Afghanistan, this is the closest that you will get into the fight without being deployed.

Recommendation to just jump back and have one or two nice action evenings with a great FPS.

literally cannot play this game . In 2020 , my friend gifted me this game and months later ,its got revoked . During the sale , i bought this again and when i launched , it said : For security reasons , the registration cod for your game has been deactivated . Please refer to your customer service website to resolve this issue . I contact EA support immediately , they said its steam problem and i should contact steam support . When i visit steam support they sent me directly to EA support . How on earth can i play the game and they cannot fix my problem .

This game pleasantly surprised me.
I went into this with my EA play subscription only due to the fact that I was bored. I thought this will be just another generic FPS game from the 2010s, but man was I wrong. Well maybe not entirely wrong, but every bad thing I expected just wasn't there.
Now, the story is really short, finished it in almost 4 hours, but it felt like a lot more, in a good sense! Every mission felt unique to me and it was one of the few games that actually immersed me. I really felt that in the (spoiler) [spoiler] part where enemies were running down the hill at you and your ammo was running low, and the audio design and everything just made you feel like you just aren't gonna make it out of there, but then you get rescued by friendly choppers and the day is saved. Damn, I loved that part [/spoiler]. But every part is awesome like that. You'll probably be immersed the whole playthrough, and in my opinion this is very worth it.. well, not for 20€, but be sure to grab it in a sale!

First, i don't play multiplayer modes (mainly in fps games) so i gonna stick with campaign in this review.
The single-player campaign while extremely short is paced well and offers a decent amount of variety, the squad AI does a great job of making you feel like they are contributing in a meaningful way to the battle, often they'll offer up verbal clues as to where you can find enemies which defiantly helps with the immersion making you actually feel like you're a part of a top notch special forces team.
A solid shooter experience, and obvious ripoff of Modern Warfare, don't get me wrong, i'm no CoD fanboy at all, but I know a fake when I see one.

Played the games for two months. Very short gameplay as everything is fast-paced. Wish they had more missions on this game, like maybe on a different operation after the engagements on Takur Ghar. But I get it, they made it theatric like you're playing on an action movie of an adaptation of a real military event.

I like the gameplay. I'd say it's more accurate in terms of how operation may have been implemented by operators around the world in comparison with high-fueled action games like previous series of Call of Duty. Enjoyed it that much.

This game did not age well. Mechanics are clunky and the game play is boring. You are forced through what is essentially hallmarks of CoD4 but done worse. You wouldn't be buying this game for it's graphics at this point so you are pretty much paying for the story. Which again, isn't much to begin with. At the time this came out it might have been cool, especially with DICE's gaming engine being top notch, but it just doesn't hold up for replayability. I couldn't play this game over and over with higher difficulties just due to the fact of how boring it is.

Just finished it again, first time on steam and I have to say it's still a great game.

Short campaign but immensely fun due to weapon handling and feeling. Switching to a G3A3 or AK47 from a M4 and you FEEL it. It's not just a reskin like neww games. Each weapon sounds and handles uniquely.

I remember my first run at 2010 and I was blown away by the graphics, so realistic and gritty. Today they still held up pretty good,

Haven'T played MP ever but I bet its great too thanks to the weapon handling.

All in all a short but substantial story about a Navy SEAL behind the lines vs real life enemies with real life weapons. The kind of game that makes me feel old, I miss the good old days where the story was above all else (yeah I'm looking at you MP and microstansactions).

I played this game when it was first released in October of 2010 and enjoyed it. However, almost 11 years later and I'm very nostalgic for this. The single player campaign is kind of a dying breed. In its place are online multiplayer games populated with bottom feeders. I digress...

This was a very controversial game at the time because it was based on an ongoing war and originally included the actual Taliban as the opposition in multiplayer. Having real tier 1 operators work on the game gives it a very authentic feel and is the type of game that is sorely missed now.

Cant play the game because EA and steam cant provide a service, and an obligation to deliver even after I have paid for a subscription (EA Play) and reached out for help. There was no hint this would happen. SO YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.

STAY AWAY FROM EA PLAY (through steam)

Tried to play this as part of EA play on steam. It asked for a key. After yelling at EA tech support for 2 hours, I finally got one. This however does not excuse the way in which you have to obtain said key.

I had to repeatedly hammer home that this was an advertised product through steam that goes through origin. First I was told it wasn't even in the EA play subscription and they asked for a screenshot of the damn storepage.
Once that was proven they claimed it was a steam issue, I had to be very forward in explaining how this was a bunch of nonsense.
They then claimed that there was nothing they could do and that I should basically just take the L.
After reminding them repeatedly that this was a scam, having to provide 5 different screenshots of proof of purchase, and yelling (in chat) some more, they randomly gave me a key and ushered me off.

I would highly recommend AGAINST getting EA play, it is currently about as close to a scam as you can get on steam. Hope this serves as a warning to others, and a path to getting your key you paid for to those who have already subscribed sadly.

EDIT: If you wanna play the Singleplayer you have to submit a ticket to EA (Steam isnt going to help you), that's pretty much it!

EDIT 2: After all this time I'm still trying to convice EA that I cannot play the game and they seem clueless in what to do in order to help me.

EDIT 3: Just crack the game! They just don´t care!

But the game is great!

This was short but fun singleplayer campaign game where you play as a few U.S. military men who are fighting against the bad guys. Nothing much I can say about this game except it's short and great. The only problems I had with this game is I wasn't able to change the graphic settings on the singleplayer game. So I was forced to play the whole game in maxed out Medium graphics which I wasn't complaining since it looked good (especially during it's time when it was released). Other than that this game is great! I totally recommend it but wait till it goes on sale.

P.S. The strange thing on this game is I was able to change the graphics settings to Maximum on Multiplayer mode but that doesn't matter since I tried playing last night and there was literally only 1 person on there. Multiplayer is dead on this particular game.

P.S.S. I tied playing multiplayer at night and it was dead. But I played multiplayer early in the morning and there were a decent amount of players to play with on there. Fair warning tho.... these multiplayer gamers on this game are so damn good or godlike it's ridiculous. I was surprise that I was able to get a couple of kills before getting slaughtered by them haha.

Even though this MOH 2010 has aged, for me it is still THE best MilCombat single player experience to be had on PC. Love the weaps, MoCap.... sounds.... weapons feel alround. .... the list goes on and on. I just replayed the sp campaign today and can`t believe how well it stands up in 2021. Even graphically it does admirably after all this time. I prefer MOHs S/P Campaign to Modern Warfare 2019s S/P Campaign tbh. Call me crazy.

I cannot touch on the multiplayer aspect as I haven`t played it in years. I do remember that it was brutal and unforgiving back in the Day. Can`t remember if the multiplayer aspect of MOH took away the ability to lean and go prone. But I do remembering wishing that the mp felt as good as the sp gameplay though.

So ultimately yeah, I do recommend the Single Player Campaign at least, for anyone digging this kind of milcombat experience.

This game has a very good story I really liked it and it's very interesting and weird that the characters change their names and how you are one of them you don't talk But when let's say you're already different Then they already talk a little here but There are like there are mothers funny names but super game highly recommend graphics good and just sorry it's such a short mission a little very or could be more supplement released in other parts but reminds me of other games like call dutty in more with fair stories who likes good history and nature and you cant please your team when give your ammo thats so hellp I recommend only a pity that it is better not to end .

ONLY RECOMMENDED IF TECH SAVVY
Medal of honor was a great game for it's time but doesnt seem to have age too well. Has that gray hue everywhere on it, which was a trend and late 2000, seems like developers tought it made stuff more realistic. awful acceleration and frames/sec that can only be turned off in the config file and shitty console FOV you need third party software to increase. Another potentially great PC game held back by console development. Not going to ruin the story but basically you play the story alternating between two squads of four decimating terrorist in the middle east. To tone down some of the unfortunate console peasantry done to this game, it's going to require a little tech savvyness. Before even starting this game get MedalofhonorFOVchanger to increase the FOV and scale the weapon to match it. I'll also recommend Reshade and following some of the community's instructions on how to unlock the fps and remove mouse acceleration. After all these you get a 8/10 from a former 6/10 game.

One of the best war stories that has been turned into game from real life aspects. I've listened to the afghanistan vets and what they have told is so similar to the experience you have here. Ending is one of the best as well even if it's sad unfortunately.

Medal of Honer is an military action title where you play various different soldiers in parts of a modern conflict. When it comes to this specific title, MOH Single player is not bad, but its mediocre. The short length is a positive influence on the enjoyment factor, but the overall batch of levels aren't anything new or interesting. The single player also feels a lot different compared to the multiplayer, such as guns feel, and movement control. Overall I think I would recommend this to a friend at a cheaper price. 6/10

Smallest campaign I have ever seen in my life for an fps. Literally gives you like 2 or 3 guns with basically unlimited ammo. Very out dated graphics even for a game 10 years old. Very restrictive movement, as in poor level design that instead of using physical barriers to stop you from leaving the level it literally just puts invisible walls everywhere. Like navigating through parts of this game is very trial and error and frustrating that you keep getting blocked by nothing. If you want a good fps experience just get a call of duty game or go back the the old school fps like medal of honor allied assault.

I've played this game numerous times on several different consoles, PS3, X360 etc. Never ceases to make you almost tear up at the end. The campaign is well told story and is continued in Medal of Honor: WF but in my personal opinion you cannot beat this 2010 masterpiece. It's just too bad the multiplayer portion of this game has been long dead.

I really enjoyed the campaign. I think it got flack because it wasn't Call of Duty, with it's over the top set pieces. While this game isn't a sim, it's one of the most modern military shooters (I was in the military). I keep finding myself coming back to it when I crave feeling like actually being in Afganistan and experiences a exaturated approximation of what our species forces do over there.

As a game, I cant recommend it. The campaign feels incredibly dated, even for its time. Gunplay feels stiff and sluggish, and the campaign is short BUT tells the store its trying to do. The bad gameplay is why I don't actually recommend it, but on the other hand...

The 'story' itself isnt really a video game story really, its more a retelling of the events at the Battle of Takur Ghar during Operation Anaconda. Im not going to just regurgitate a wikipedia article or books to you so Im not going to bother really explaining what that was, but it was a battle that ended in a Navy SEAL, Neil C. Roberts, being awarded a Medal of Honor posthumously.

On the bright side, the game isn't that long (I beat it in under 4 hours) and if you want to experience this retelling of the events I'd say grab it cheap on sale or on EAPlay, and run through it on Easy. Don't bother with the Online, it was a bad version of Battlefield 3.

Trying to get back the lunch that Call of Duty stole from them, MoH goes Modern Warfare with a tight story and excellent gun play. There's some exciting set pieces and lots of action. Definitely worth a play if you enjoy modern settings and weapons.

Görevler genel olarak sıkıcı, hikaye desen hiç yok. Bir de sanırım oyundan otokayıt sistemini kaldırmışlar 2-3 saatte bir canı isterse kaydediyor eğer ki canı istemezse görevin en başına atma riski bile var. 10 years later and its just as enjoyable. and considering the age, the graphics held up pretty well.
for those who complain about the short single player campaign, it was based off the events leading up to the Battle of Robert's Ridge, which itself was only 3 days.

Paying tribute to our brave men and women in uniform-who often go through situations that are unimaginable to all of us sitting at home with controllers in our hands-is a great thing. The step that EA has taken towards establishing a precedent for exploring topical subject matter in a video game may be a small one, but it's still important. But almost everything else about Medal of Honor, while enjoyable, makes it hard to shake the feeling of playing just another military shooter.

If you want a fast-paced, story-driven shooter with a healthy dose of realism this it.

You are a Navy SEAL in the hills of Afghanistan. You work with your team to identify, hunt, and kill enemies whether they are in a small village or hidden among the various mountain caves. While the beginning of the game is more about killing the enemy, it quickly becomes a short, violent tale about survival.

The graphics are great considering their age, the sound effects are spot-on, and the dialogue throughout the game is very realistic and a credit to the consultant. You will shoot, move, and communicate with other SEALs in fireteams as you clear buildings and engage the enemy. Some of the missions are not very realistic, such as four SEALs assaulting an entire airbase alone, but the radio chatter and global assets have you feeling in the middle of a very sophisticated, if gritty war.

The single-player campaign is very short (4 hours), but you will not want to stop once you begin the ride.

If you want a realistic, gritty shooter that makes you feel like a badass operator buy this.

Брутальный боевик на пару вечеров.

Эта часть ознаменовала собой перезапуск серии, который, к слову, долго не протянул.
Безусловно, Medal of Honor в этом непременно нуждался, особенно если учесть что коллеги по цеху в лице Battlefield и Call of Duty перешли на новый сеттинг годами ранее [spoiler]Доить WW2 уже не представлялось возможным[/spoiler].
Вообще, данный проект совсем не прорывной, но, разработчикам удалось позаимствовать удачные моменты у коллег по цеху и совместить их с более приземленной концепцией игры.
К слову, о концепции. В отличие от представленных выше игр, MoH пошёл своей дорогой, поведав нам основанную на реальных событиях историю и имеющую к реальности непосредственное отношение с добавлением необходимых условностей там где это было необходимо. В упомянутых же выше играх сюжет всегда был построен на условностях, где реальность имела второстепенную роль и была не более чем лишь источником вдохновения.
Это похвально.
Во время игры ты чувствуешь себя песчинкой, хоть и рангом повыше. В серии Call of Duty с этим всегда были проблемы, также как и в серии Battlefield, хоть и в меньших масштабах. Сюжет игры не прописывал запредельно абсурдные ситуации, которые в реальности завершились бы не в пользу действующего лица. А те, редкие ситуации, от которых так и веет голливудом за версту, строго регламентированы.
Однако, справедливости ради, чуда не произошло. Запала сценаристов не хватило на продолжительное время, отсюда и выходит очень низкая продолжительность игры

Оружейная составляющая достойна уважения. Проработка моделей так же на голову опережает Call of Duty, где оружие моделировалось со страйкбольных образцов с соответствующими косяками или же вовсе просто по картинкам из интернета.
К слову о семействе АК, это ещё одно попадание точное в точку. В том боевом конфликте который повествует игра, количество оригинальных АК было минимальным, отсюда и румынские и венгерские копии. Это похвально вдвойне.

Графически, игра не выглядит сильно устаревшей, но баги и недоработки присутствуют на многих уровнях. Также, в игре нету детальной настройки графики.

Из очевидных минусов проекта в целом могу выделить лишь не очень удачный порт на ПК и ужасную настройку чувствительности мыши.

Интересно отметить тот факт, что одиночная и многопользовательская части игры сделаны разными ребятами на разных игровых движках.

Итог: игра более чем раскрыла свой потенциал, рекомендую всем опробовать данный продукт!

memories refreshed after playing this game again. Though it was released in 2010 but it has some extra ordinary game mechanics and graphics if u play with 1920x1080 resolution. awesome game

The player alternates between acting as a Navy Seal squad member on covert missions to pinpoint targets and as an Army grunt fighting the Taliban. The story is compelling if a bit short. The combat is very good, if a bit linear. I played the game for years on DVD and then on Origin. Now it is on Steam. Yay!

How to Play in 2020

1. Copy the prompted activation key to wordpad. (Show in Imgur link at very bottom of post.)
2. Delete the key that is artifacted in the pre-filled slot for the EA fill out form to activate your game.
3. Paste your original key from wordpad into the activation slot to replace the broken pre-filled key.
4. Start up game and in video settings select 1920x1080 at the top of the resolution list, not at the bottom like the rest. ***EASILY MISSED!***
5. Fight the Taliban.

EA won't let me log in to confirm I own the game, rendering it unplayable. I guess the only way to play it now is to pirate it. Good job, EA. If you're gonna kill the servers at least kill the DRM too so people who own it can do something with it besides be forced to uninstall.

Unlike call of duty this game feels a little more grounded and realistic but it is very similar to cod in structure. You feel like you are working with a tier 1 team. Your team will help you out the ai is pretty good. The story starts off slow but has a good pacing and really ramps up towards the end. The Characters are like able and definitely grow on you as the game progresses. Graphics hold up really well for its age. Overall very solid game would definitely recommend picking up on sale only because its pretty short I beat it in about 5 hours on the hardest difficulty.

Great game, loved the multiplayer back in the day. Can not get it to work now. Do not Buy on Steam, gonna try EA. Its on sale for $5. Told steam it did not work and no help from them.

A short first person shooter where missions are based on real life missions. The graphics still hold up well, despite being released ten years ago. Levels are linear but offer a lot of variety and are really enjoyable. You'll get to run through levels shooting lots of enemies with a variety of weapons, take out enemies at long range with a sniper rifle, fly in an Apache helicopter and create plenty of explosions and leave plenty of dead bodies as you go.

I highly recommend it for anyone interested in a linear fps. It is a lot of fun, however the campaign is short so pick it up on sale. I doubt the multiplayer has anyone playing at this point, especially since it was a big let down to many when the game first launched. Worth a buy for the campaign.

I am only reviewing the single player aspect of this game.

At just over four hours to complete the campaign, this game has to get a lot done in order to merit a good review. I did not quite attach to the characters as well as Spec Ops: The Line, nor does this game come with a cerebral aspect like that aforementioned gem. Also, some of the vehicle piloting sections are rather run-of-the-mill. I played on medium difficulty and felt the damage dealt and receive felt appropriate. The ammo mechanic (Ask buddy for infinite ammo) breaks what could be a better survival style game which requires swapping to the weapons of fallen foes. The story is nothing fresh, but it serves its purpose.

Yet despite reflecting on all of that, I feel that this game does warrant a thumbs up. This is for the handful of truly powerful cinematic experiences that it delivers. That alone makes this seem like an interactive cinematic, a four hour long mix of Black Hawk Down and Lone Survivor. Comparted to the price of awesome cinema, I think this game might actually just pass the mark I place on a thumbs up.

***SPOILERS AHEAD***

Two scenes in particular stand out to me:

As the rangers (Adams), getting pinned in a hut with your last squad mates, running low on ammo, having the walls crumble in around you, enemies swarming from three sides, seeing the end approach, was very compelling. It felt tense and desperate. Then the game delivers you from the maw of certain death, with the Apaches blazing in from the sun. True salvation, and it felt so sweet.

One scene of close fire support, where the ordinance drops and the dust from the explosion darkens the sky. Debris streams down and the fog slowly fades away. This was a mesmerizing moment.

A little flashback to 2010 and “MEDAL OF HONOR”. Made myself finish it (hard difficulty) after 7 years.

Not that spectacular campaign, graphics is still nice, even after 7 years. Nice soundtrack.

Never got around to playing Medal of Honor (2010) when it came out. At that point the whole Modern Military Shooter craze was in full swing (thanks CoD 4) and as cool as it looked it didn't seem distinct enough from the pack to warrant a full 60 dollar purchase, especially since everyone was so heavily focused on multiplayer, with the single player campaign usually being a tacked on after thought. I do gotta say though, despite it being a bit dated graphically, this is a pretty tight, enjoyable, and bite sized linear MMS. The whole experience is carried with MoH's signature authenticity, and although nothing mind blowing, the shooting is satisfying enough, and the narrative is realistic-adjacent enough to where suspending belief is incredibly easy. Took me about four hours to finish, so if hour/dollar ratio is something you consider, then maybe this isn't quite what you're looking for, but at a discount I'd say you're missing out on a fun afternoons time. Recommended.
