A ton of new features this time around, development is progressing at a good speed, the first few hours of the game are already [i]fully playable[/i].

New Covers

We've been adding more detail to the structure exteriors, to make them more interesting and different from each other, we've added new [i]cover[/i] [i]textures[/i], and new props like [i]skylights[/i], [i]tanks[/i] and other [i]details[/i].

Algae Farm

Here you will be able to grow [b]algae[/b] to feed your colonists. This will be one of the many sources of food in the game like [i]vegetables[/i], [i]insects[/i] or [i]vitromeat[/i].

Toilets and Treatment Plant

This will be new mechanic in Planetbase 2: colonists will use the toilets, where they will "produce" [b]Organic Waste[/b], that you can then process in the [b]Treatment Plant, [/b]to make it into [b]Fertilizer[/b], that you can then use to grow plants in the [b]Bio-Dome.[/b]

Fusion Reactor

This completes the full array of power generation structures in the game, this is on top of [b]Solar Panels[/b], [b]Wind Turbines[/b], [url="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images//45544288/e2cf97c4138ac73c6ee9567d8e029452f508c276.png"]Geothermal Plant[/url] and the [url="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images//10221286/fd691335646f96c3df5873a982ae917706e94ddd.png"]Nuclear Reactor[/url].

Bar

This is the place for the colonists to relax after a hard day of work. The new Bar has some new additions as well like [b]Sofas[/b], [b]Decorative Lamps[/b] and [b]Neon Signs[/b].

Lab

The Lab is making a comeback, but with 3 new research components: [b]Medical Research Station[/b], [b]Biological Research Station[/b] and [b]Astrophysical Research station[/b]. Here your colonists can perform [i]basic research[/i], which can be used to generate development for new [b]upgrades[/b], or [i]commercial research [/i]which generates credits.
