Summer solstice has arrived and warmer weather is now in full swing. With bees buzzing and flowers blooming, we wanted to give you a little update on the gardening content and what we're currently working on. ❤️
The Curious Case of the Little Straw Doll ????
Firstly, we noticed a few comments about the straw doll not working properly. We've looked into this and believe we have made a fix. This will need a bit more polishing down the line (we will explain below!), but for now it should work as intended.
Thank you SO much for bearing with us through these bugs. We're working as hard as we can to investigate issues as well as focus on new content, so sometimes things do take a little longer than we'd hope.
The Little Straw Doll will work if you place the item into a pot or flower bed and will prevent your crops from rotting/growing any further. One important thing to note, if you want to move the straw doll to a different flower bed, you'll need to store it first. Otherwise, you can move it to a different location but the original flower bed will still be protected from rot. So please store the straw dolls before you move them. (We will work on ironing that out a little later down the line!)
What's the latest?
We've been concentrating on new content and what's coming next to the woodlands. While there's a few more things we need to finalise before we can fully announce what's headed to the witchy world of REKA, we did want to show off these two items we hope you'll love:
Flower crown
We've been working on this flower crown to give you more options when it comes to character customisation. We wanted to stick to the nature themes and give Reka something beautifully autumnal to wear upon their head!
Candle with a special purpose...
This has been really fun to create. You'll be able to use this candle to help spirits pass over to the afterlife. But we'll share more on this a little later!
Garden of the Witch Competition
Over on our official REKA Discord, we're hosting a gardening build competition. The prizes include a REKA t-shirt and a gardening-themed gift, and we're really looking forward to seeing all the entries! We usually always have some sort of competition running on our Discord, from house builds to writing short stories, and even art and cooking themed challenges!
There's a few other reasons to join our wonderful community too:
