What changed since Early Access?
Since its Early Access in 2022, the game has received several major updates:
- Story Mode: Adding more lore, quests and a story-based end goal to the game.
- Ocean and Ruins Biome: New challenges await in the form of new gameplay mechanics, events and scouting locations.
- Reworked economy: Improved villager management, a reworked research system and balancing tweaks have increased the game’s depth.
- Hostility modifiers: Extra challenges for experienced players.
- Gameplay and content expansions: Such as trading, parasites, new buildings, resources, Onbu commands, just to name a few.
- Controller and Steam Deck Support
- Ported the game to Xbox, PlayStation and Switch
- And much more!
What’s next?
Despite 1.0 marking a major milestone for the game, we have already started to address some of the feedback that we received following the recent updates. So stay tuned for the 1.1 Quality of Life & UX update ????
Beyond that, we have started to tweak and add some more things related to your interactions and relationship with Onbu. This will be our 1.2 update which we are hoping to release later this year.
