There was another hero in the story of Argon—the yard dog Arnie, whose heart was far larger than his modest size. He spent his entire life on the fringes, dreaming of great deeds, but fate seemed to laugh at him: he was too small for both sleds and serious hunting.
His moment of glory came on the day of the Ice Spider invasion. The monsters crawled out of their snowy burrows and attacked the settlement where he lived, shrouding everything in a chilling darkness. The terrified residents fled in panic, abandoning their homes. And at that moment, the gigantic dog Argon appeared among the monsters, single-handedly engaging the horde of creatures.
And then something clicked in Arnie's soul. He saw not just a giant dog, but the living embodiment of his dreams, fighting alone. And his own fear dissolved in a furious bark. Arnie rushed into the thick of the fight, not to bite, but to distract: twirling just beneath the monsters' paws, his ringing barks distracted them until Argon dealt with them one by one.
When the last spider fled, Argon approached the little brawler. The giant dog bowed his head and gently nuzzled Arnie's flank. In their language, it meant, "You're a hero."
In that moment, Arnie understood: to be a hero, you don't have to be big. You just have to have a big heart. So without a second thought, he followed his new friend toward the greatest adventure of all.
