[b]Play with Friends (Join Codes)[/b]
Playing Nightingale with friends between platforms just got easier. You can now share a [b]Join Code[/b] to invite friends directly into your game. The game will automatically find the host and connect using the best available method.
[i]When hosting, select [b]Join Code[/b] from the connection options.[/i]
Share the code from the [b][i]Social[/i][/b] tab.
Your friend enters the code and joins instantly.
If a direct connection isn’t possible, traffic will route through Valve’s Steam Datagram Relay, a global private network optimized for gaming. Join Codes also support seamless cross-play between Steam and Epic players.
[b]Gameplay Updates[/b]
We also have a host of new gameplay and balance updates! This update adds visible wear and damage to tools and clothing based on durability, improves map completion clarity and Essence Trader item presentation, and delivers major reward and balance tuning. Vault Essence rewards are doubled, and chest loot is reworked (fewer perishables, more seeds, and realm-specific item targeting with stronger Ascended rewards). Combat tuning adjusts critical damage scaling and caps, and a broad pass boosts many characteristics to make rare resources more exciting. Augments also get wording cleanup, Danu’s Cauldron returns, and several augment types now apply more consistently across their related refinement stations.

[/*][*]Ascended Realm chests now offer rare T5 crafting materials with a bias based on which realm you’re in.
