[p]Hello Paxians,[/p][p]Our latest content update is now live.[/p][p]This minor content update is a continuation of Verse 3, in which we’re introducing quite a few changes to enhance your gaming experience. Let’s deep dive into what’s coming.[/p][p]
New Journal[/p][p]We’re making updates to the UI, including the Journal, so that it displays recipes more effectively and smoothly, as well as the Plot window and item tooltips. Each Petra Dei will have its own storage, serving as a private storage space for each player. Each Petra Dei storage unit starts with 20 slots and can be expanded to a maximum of 80 slots, with some Grace offerings.[/p][p][/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/43726614/2b14206e7352e9f01746f446edddd6c5c921d62e.jpg"][/img][/p][p]New Sky, New Lights[/p][p]We’re making visual updates to what we call the “Cosmos”. For example, you’ll be able to see new biome atmospherics and color grading. There will also be a new multilayered cloud system. When a market stall owner cancels a sell order from another player, the items are returned to the redeeming queue of the owner of the sell order instead of to the inventory of the market stall owner. [/p][p][/p][p]New notification system[/p][p]The new notification system introduces several global improvements to enhance user experience and ensure clarity. Notifications are now consistently placed based on their type, always appearing on top without overlapping critical information. The updated menu aligns with the latest UX framework for a more streamlined interface. For default notifications, interactivity has been added to improve the discoverability of new content. To minimize clutter, notifications are now sequenced so that only one appears at a time, and similar types are grouped into a single message to prevent spamming. Pickup notifications have also been optimized, allowing a maximum of three to appear on screen simultaneously, reducing overlap. Additionally, both crafting/harvesting and combat skill notifications now feature improved and consistent tracking of XP progression, providing users with clearer feedback on their development.[/p][p][/p][p]Various bug fixes[/p][p]This patch also presents a good opportunity for the team to implement several bug fixes. All details will be included in the patch notes, which will be published on the deployment day. [/p][p][/p][p]Premium Status experience[/p][p]As outlined in our recent blog post, all Early Access players already benefit from the Premium Status, and this hasn’t changed. What’s new with this update is that these Premium bonuses are now explicitly visible and active in-game, allowing you to clearly see and feel the advantages while playing.[/p][p]These include:[/p]
  • [p]+50% Grace from daily login[/p][/*]
  • [p]+50% Grace from Gold offerings[/p][/*]
  • [p]+50% XP on all activities[/p][/*]
[p]The XP rates themselves remain unchanged, as the original Early Access progression was already balanced with Premium Status in mind. However, we’ve taken this opportunity to increase the Grace bonuses, so you will notice a tangible improvement in Grace income after the patch.[/p][p]NB: As with all things during Early Access, these values may evolve based on feedback and gameplay data.

  • [p]Fixed an issue where the miracle radial menu button referring to the Grace menu was not interactable by LMB.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where plot outlines were not displayed correctly after having multiple plots joined together.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the \[E] Split key in the Split Stack window was non-functional when using the keyboard.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where Chat settings would become unresponsive if the Player tried to access them from "General" chat.[/p][/*]

  • [p]Fixed an issue where some items were only shown as an ingredient in the journal and not as a recipe.[/p][/*]

Crashes

  • [p]Opening and closing the radial menus fast freezes the game and disconnects the character[/p][/*]
  • [p]Sometimes, the game crashes when teleporting to the Tower of Emrys Gateway (Ancien Province)[/p][/*]
  • [p]In a dungeon, if you quickly log out and immediately log back, the Inventory hotbar will disappear[/p][/*]
[p][/p]

Miscellaneous

  • [p]Corrupted Wolves in the dungeons cannot be skinned[/p][/*]
  • [p]Sometimes, rarely, reviving players doesn't work in dungeons[/p][/*]
  • [p]Shutters can sometimes be placed in the air[/p][/*]

UI/UX

  • [p]No Party/Clan invites Notifications appear for newly created Characters after the game update.[/p][/*]
  • [p]PvE floating number experience gains don't show the premium bonus. However, they are correct.[/p][/*]
  • [p]There is no notification when unlocking a new fast travel destination.[/p][/*]
  • [p]There is no notification when getting in range to summon the character's remnants.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Adding an extra keybind to ‘Interact (Secondary)’ prevents players from sending personal invites to a Clan/Party via the player interaction menu.[/p][/*]
  • [p]The Plot menu displays an incorrect Map picture when the character is in a different Province than the plot.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Character Creator: darker skin tones are uniquely accompanied by facial speckles.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Notifications for new recipes fail to appear when an ‘unlocker item’ is picked up from a container.[/p][/*]
  • [p]In the Equipment menu, the Examine feature is disabled and displays no assigned key.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Miracle blessing duration shows "0" over other Players' heads - only visible to other clients.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Player cannot see their other characters' plots that are in different Zones or Provinces.[/p][/*]
  • [p]"Out of Stamina" often doesn't appear on the screen.[/p][/*]
  • [p]"Out of Arrows" prompt appears when the player cancels bow draw, even when having arrows.[/p][/*]

Spells

  • [p]Overgrowth spell (Sylvan Staff) does not apply direct heal.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Netfall tooltip, description, and in-game effect durations are inconsistent.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Spirit cost scales up with higher tiers for some spells, but the effect does not.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Ambush ability's effect wears off if the player prepares any non-instant cast spell.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Bloodfed Grove spell has visible stretched VFX in the initial casting phase.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Sanctified and Quiet Stand have incorrect cooldown timer in the description.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Alacrity Spell provides negligible spirit cost reduction across tiers.[/p][/*]
  • [p]Revoke spell can be self-cast despite being intended only for enemies.[/p][/*]
