Ruthless Difficulty
Ruthless breathes new life into early-game content with map-specific difficulty increases! Older maps receive larger difficulty adjustments to bring them more in-line with newer content that's generally balanced with seasoned defenders in mind. Recently introduced maps receive smaller adjustments, although players will find them more challenging nonetheless!- [i]Alchemical Laboratory[/i], [i]The Throne Room[/i] and [i]The Summit[/i] maps drop new baby pet variants of their respective bosses when beating the maps during Campaign mode on Ruthless difficulty; [list]
- Baby Demon Lord - Obtained via Campaign Mode on [i]Alchemical Laboratory[/i].
- Baby Mech - Obtained via Campaign Mode on [i]The Throne Room[/i].
- Baby Ancient Dragon - Obtained via Campaign Mode on [i]The Summit[/i].
[*] [i]Temple of Polybius[/i], [i]True Boss Rush[/i], [i]Halloween Invasion[/i], and todays new addition; [i]Eternia Gauntlet[/i] have increased rewards on Ruthless Difficulty.
[*] While playing on Ruthless, items from all maps have higher chance to be 'Ultimate++' quality. Additionally, rewards from original Campaign maps and challenges have been scaled up to current gear standards. [/list]
New Map: Eternia Gauntlet
Pursue the Crystalline Squire across Etheria, conquering each challenge and villain they've assembled to impede you!
This map provides two unique rewards to triumphant defenders; the [b]Lumeric Staff[/b] and [b]Abyssal Fin Sword[/b].
New DLC
Warping Core Challenge Pack II
This DLC pack grants players access to [i]Arcane Library[/i], [i]Omenak[/i] and [i]Infested Ruins[/i] maps with the Warping Core game modifier! Defenders will need to be both fleet of foot and quick of wit to conquer the challenge ever-wandering cores pose. Those who are successful in their defense will be rewarded with the coveted Zamira set;
- Zamira Bracers - Obtained by completing [i]Warping Cores: Arcane Library[/i].
- Zamira Mask - Obtained by completing [i]Warping Cores: Omenak[/i].
- Zamira Hat - Obtained by completing [i]Warping Cores: Infested Ruins[/i].

Balance Changes
- Reduced the damage of Huntress' 'Piercing Shot' by 50%.
- Chests in [i]War of the Djinn[/i] and [i]Rumble in the Jungle[/i] now give 130 mana instead of 100.
- Added a 1.5x damage multiplier to [i]Nightmare True Boss Rush[/i] Great Old One.
Quality of Life
- Added selection UI to [i]True Boss Rush[/i] checkpoints.
- Added a mini-map for [i]Temple of Polybius[/i] boss gauntlet.
- Significantly sped-up [i]War of the Djinn[/i] and [i]Rumble in the Jungle[/i] on all difficulties.
- Significantly increased the time the Djinn spends in the lamp during [i]Rumble in the Jungle[/i].
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the Barbarian could get stuck upon level victory.
- Fixed max core HP on [i]Deeper Well: No Towers Allowed[/i] challenge.
- Fixed an issue where pressing V at any time during the map would always skip the 'boss timer' on [i]Crystal Cave[/i].
- Fixed an issue where players could not interact with presents while in build phase.
- Fixed an ability bug for [i]Crystalline Resurgence III[/i] and [i]Nightmare True Boss Rush[/i] Great Old One.
