Need a deep-dive? We got you covered:
Pimp Your Patrol

It’s time for a makeover. Inside the garage, there’s now a brand-new customization tab where you can choose between a total of 18 different free attachments which can be applied to all patrol cars – from the Panther Z to the CPV. Which attachments, you might ask? Rims, spoilers, bullbars, lightbars, and stickers! The spoilers also come in a variety of colors while the lightbars now consist of two different light settings, leading to a total of 30 options to customize your patrol cars!

Wait, did we just say… two lights? Next to the already available blue/white setting, you can now also choose a red/blue one! These are available for every single lightbar and can be adjusted, like all the other options, inside the garage.
In addition, owners of the Unmarked Pack can now choose to remove the lightbar altogether, even in combination with a ‘normal’ police livery. This way, you can finally drive a slicktop police car! You’re welcome, officers.
Gadgets Without Limits

Over the last few years, we’ve released a bunch of amazing patrol cars – and almost all of them came with a unique gadget to improve your life as a patrol officer. However, all gadgets were only usable with the car they were originally designed for. Now, you are able to attach every gadget to every patrol car – with zero limits.
Please note that you must own the gadget via the respective DLC to attach it to other cars.
This means that you can even have all gadgets enabled all at once, smoothly switching between them while on the ride. You’re at an accident site? Turn on the Matrix Sign or use the Winch to tow the car to a different area! Need to catch up to a fleeing car? Let’s grant yourself a boost with Launch Control and tackle them with the Snare Net… the choice is yours.
In addition, when activating the Matrix Sign at accident sites, the spotlights turn on for all patrol cars and greatly improve visibility – especially useful at night! You can now also choose between putting the Matrix Sign underneath the light bar on top of the car or behind the rear window.
A New Free Tool: Hello, ALPR!

The Brighton Police Department has always invested in further research and development to ensure its officers have steady access to the latest-and-greatest technology. Thanks to the new update, you are now able to equip the brand-new license plate scanner (ALPR) as an additional free gadget!
This gadget automatically scans and collects all available information about the license plates and the respective cars if they are ahead of the player in a direct line of sight, even if they are slightly to the left and right. You can easily check for potential registered violations and remarks, prompting a potential report and pull-over if proven to be necessary.
Bug Fixes & Other Improvements
With today's update, we're also fixing a bunch of issues while improving general performance and stability. One big focus of ours was the general multiplayer performance which we tackled across several areas. Get on patrol with a partner and let us know your feedback!
We plan to introduce further improvements in the near future with the next big update – more about that further down below.
Local Representation

We’re also pleased to introduce the Catpaw Skin Collection, a brand-new set of four beautiful liveries inspired by Las Vegas, New Hampshire, Florida, and Fairfax County – and created in close collaboration with ricobrzenska and Kittyraww who provided some great support!
These skins are now available for free for all patrol cars inside the garage! A good start already, but which region do you want to represent next?
Breaking Boundaries: Crossplay Is Here!
As officers of the Brighton Police Department, we always strive to bring people and communities closer together. Building bridges is important – across platforms.
With today’s update, we’re finally introducing full crossplay between PC & Xbox! Bring along a friend and start your next shift together ????

Alongside the completely free updates, we plan to launch some additional paid content this year to support the further development of the game. To reward our most loyal officers, we’ve created a Season Pass that will provide access to all of these DLC with a total discount of 37% in comparison to purchasing them individually. The Vehicle Customization Pack is, of course, also included!

Police Simulator ???? Game Pass
We’re also happy to announce that, at the exact same time as the update, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is now available on Xbox Game Pass across PC and Console! ????
Subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Standard receive full access to the main game – the perfect opportunity to finally join the Brighton Police Department!
Say hello to all of our new recruits! ????
What’s Next?
Just this week, we have started our work on the next big update, currently being labeled as the ‘Quality-of-Life Update’. In recent months, we held several polls within the community to better understand how we could improve the game across several aspects – from minor inconveniences to greater overhauls. Thank you so much for your participation!
Current contenders and high up on our list of changes we want to tackle are, for example, a comprehensive overhaul of the CP system to prevent issues like losing CP when aiming your service pistol at a carnapper before said suspect has entered the vehicle. Other improvements include radio chatter in the background for further immersion, making ELS lights brighter during the day, being able to tow larger trucks, and a more useful mini map that provides additional details. Please note that these are currently just a fraction of our list and work has only just begun – we’ll update you very soon about the planned scope.
Keep your feedback coming!
