Hello Deadsiders!
The year 2025 is coming to an end, and looking back, it has been a challenging one, but it has been marked by new milestones in the development of the project: Deadside was released on consoles. The game's community has been joined by many new players. We created a new map focused on more intense PvP gameplay - Potny - and expanded the Mirny map. We were also the first to create procedural map generation on Unreal Engine and added the ability and tools to modify the game, giving the community virtually unlimited variability and creative freedom. The base management and crafting systems were significantly expanded, while new weapons were added and old models were redesigned. We experimented widely together with you and discovered new ways to make the game more interesting.
Today we want to share with you some exciting and important changes and features that will be coming soon. While they haven't been released this year, they are just around the corner and will be available in the next couple of updates.
We want to bring back the feeling of gunfights on the battlefield that you loved so much in Deadside, adding new elements that we all missed, while improving the overall gunplay experience.
Weapons in the game will be rebalanced to be more realistic and better reflect their real-world purpose. Ballistics in the game will be enhanced with another important factor: bullet damage will decrease with distance. We will also change the spread of weapons so that firing becomes more predictable.
We will also continue to expand the range of weapons and modifiers, so in the upcoming updates, the game will feature the powerful RSH-12 revolver.

The game will feature new collimator sights, as well as the ability to mount them on handguns, extended magazines for the IZH-70, TTk, and C1911. And finally, the long-awaited new optical scopes with higher magnification than those already available in the game.

Changes to weapons involve more than just expanded customization options; they also come with increased durability and the repair mechanics will be more in line with real-world logic. In addition, the wear and repair system will now apply to weapon mods as well.
And of course, we haven't neglected our shelters. New functional modules and decorative objects will be added to the game in the near future, as well as a new base construction element “roof slopes” which, given your creativity, will surely find wider use beyond their intended purpose.

Game balance adjustments will also be made, affecting loot drops, crafting recipes, and machine operations.
To sum up, we still don't have an exact release date, but we can already outline the sequence of new features.
