Generals!
Welcome back to another Dev Corner.
We have noticed that several of you have suggested that the Canberra Air Disaster should be part of the new Australian content. We agree — and it will be.
For those of you who may not be familiar with it, the Canberra Air Disaster refers to the 1940 plane crash in which all six passengers and four crew members were killed. It was a horribly tragic incident, and had a destabilizing effect on the government at the time, as Australia was in the midst of war and four of the victims were highly respected military advisors.
The casualties were: Brigadier Geoffrey Street, James Fairbairn, Sir Henry Gullett, General Sir C. Brudenell White, Lieutenant Colonel Francis Thornthwaite, Richard Edwin Elford, and the RAAF crew: Flight Lieutenant Robert Edward Hitchcock, Pilot Officer Richard Frederick Wiesener, Corporal John Frederick Palmer and Aircraftman Charles Joseph Crosdale.
As for our question to you: in the upcoming Australian content, should this event lead to the death of a number of predetermined advisors, or should they be chosen at random? And if you have any other input or thoughts regarding this topic, please feel free to share those as well!
