[p]Hello, this is SJGO, the Head of Development for Dungeon Stalkers. [/p][p]I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the players who have shown such an enthusiastic response and provided a great deal of feedback on the first day of our Early Access. As we have promised, we are committed to listening to your opinions and shaping the game’s direction together. Today, I would like to share our thoughts on the major issues from day one and our plans to address them. [/p][p] [/p][p]Regarding Bot Matching [/p][p]We initially designed and implemented a system that mixes in bots of an appropriate difficulty level to make the game more thrilling without causing excessive stress. [/p][p]However, we have confirmed that many of you felt you were here for tense PvP, not to fight against these unengaging, "fake" bots. [/p][p]On the other hand, there is also feedback that bots have been helpful for item farming and have improved the sense of tension and fun. In particular, many players who are not yet familiar with this genre have said that fighting bots provides a stepping stone to more advanced combat, serving as a shortcut to becoming skilled players. [/p][p]In short, we have been able to confirm that players approach each game mode with different expectations. [/p]
[p]Quick Match: For players whose main goal is to quickly enter a dungeon and hunt for loot. [/p][/*]
[p]Ranked: For players who want to prove their skills through tense, high-stakes battles against other players. [/p][/*]
[p]Therefore, we plan to remove bots completely from the Ranked modes (3-Person/1-Person) to align with player expectations. [/p][p]For Quick Match, bots will continue to appear. However, to avoid the current situation of having too many bots, we will prioritize player-vs-player matchmaking first and then lower the number of bots that are added compared to now. [/p][p]Additionally, I’d like to clarify a misunderstanding about our bot matching logic. [/p][p]Even if the pre-game lobby is filled with bots, our logic is designed to forcibly remove a bot and replace it with a real player whenever a suitable player attempts to join. Therefore, I want to assure you that excessive bot matching does not eliminate opportunities for player-vs-player encounters. We promise to continue doing our best to match you with real players of similar skill levels. [/p][p]Regarding Other Major Bugs [/p][p]Our entire development team is working around the clock to provide a smooth and pleasant gameplay experience. We are dedicating all our resources to resolving reported issues as our top priority, including matchmaking errors, lag, quest count errors, Quick Match play count errors, and item purchase errors. [/p][p]We will provide a separate notice with detailed specs on the bot matching logic changes and major bug fixes as soon as a schedule is confirmed. [/p][p]We regret that we couldn't fully meet your expectations on the first day of Early Access due to these various issues, but we will continue to communicate with you and improve the game. [/p][p]I look forward to seeing you in the dungeon. [/p][p]Thank you. [/p]
