[b]The Definitive Edition[/b] will add [b]new conten[/b]t to the game but also change what the base game is by including [b]additional clans and campaign[/b]. These changes will take place on [b]December 4th[/b] in the form of a free major update if you already own Northgard.

[b]Reaching Valhalla[/b]

After all those years of battling your way through the harsh winters, the unending attacks, and the treacherous hazards of Northgard, [b]you are finally here[/b]. And the guardians have no intention of letting you in. You didn't think this would end without one last fight, did you?

[b]Expanding Bifrost[/b]

[b]Extended realms[/b]

[b]The Bifrost Realms are being added to Singleplayer and Multiplayer game modes [/b]so that you can finally fight against other vikings in the heat of Muspellheim or in the salty desert of Idavoll!

[b]New Frostbite mode[/b]

A new [b]“Frostbite”[/b] challenge is also [b]being added to Bifrost! [/b]

If you manage to triumph over the realms, you’ll be able to increase [b]the difficulty via chosen handicaps[/b] in exchange of [b]valuable rewards[/b] for your run.

[b]A redesigned shop[/b]

The [b]in-game shop is reworked[/b] to better represent the [b]different skins and townhall[/b] you’ll be able to claim using your irons. You will also find a [b]new villager skin available by completing the game entirely[/b]!

[b]A new art gallery[/b]

An [b]art gallery[/b] is integrated containing [b]every artwork made during the development of Northgard[/b].

[b]DLC integration and price change[/b]

The [b]Definitive Edition[/b] will also include [b]the base game, the Cross of Vidar expansion pack, 3 additional clans[/b], [b]"the art of Northgard" digital artbook[/b] and will be [b]priced at $34.99. [/b]

In line with Steam’s requirements, we’re [b]updating the price today[/b]. This update allows us to offer you a [b]special launch discoun[/b]t when the [b]Definitive Edition releases[/b]. [b]Regional pricing[/b] is updated to match Steam’s latest recommendations and reflect the added content in this edition.

• [b]If you own Northgard but don’t own any or some of the DLC mentioned above[/b], the DLC will be integrated to your game in a free update.

• [b]If you own Northgard and all of the DLC mentioned above[/b], you won’t be impacted by these changes.

[b]The Clan of the Snake[/b], gathers some of the most roguish vikings to set foot on the continent of Northgard. [b]Led by Signy, the Spear Maiden[/b], the cunning members of the clan have [b]little regard for fame or honou[/b]r and would rather[b] use guerilla tactics to dominate their enemies[/b] than open warfare.

[b]Nidhogg[/b]

Exhausters of life, [b]Nidhog’s followers[/b] exploit thralls to fuel their [b]ravenous economy[/b] and human sacrifice to [b]produce their wicked dragon essence[/b]. This sinister power can ultimately turn them into [b]dragonkins[/b], revealing their inhumanity.

[b]Svadilfari[/b]

Led by [b]Brok[/b] and [b]Eitria[/b], two spirited siblings, the [b]Clan of the Horse[/b] are a quiet and sturdy people. They are also recognized by all as the [b]best craftsmen[/b] and women of the known world.

The [b]art of Northgard[/b] with dozens of [b]official and unpublished illustrations[/b], early concepts, and other exclusive works offers a fascinating look behind the scenes in the creation of Northgard. The [b]155 pages of artworks[/b] will be [b]available directly alongside your treasures[/b]
