We are aware that the past few patch notes have been somewhat sparse. This has not gone unnoticed internally, and we want to assure players that this was a deliberate strategic decision driven by our commitment to minimalism, restraint, and occasionally forgetting to write things down. It has nothing to do with us working hard on the next season or anything.
To address this, we will be significantly increasing the scope of future weekly updates.
Going forward, the game will undergo a complete redesign on a weekly basis, cycling through a curated selection of genres to ensure a consistently fresh experience. Players can expect transitions including, but not limited to:
A fully featured farming simulator
A competitive kart racer
A narrative-driven dating simulator in which every character is the same developer under different lighting conditions
A hardcore survival experience where the primary threat is patch note and balancing consistency
A rhythm game where you can only play as Tariq with permadeath. One swing miss = account is locked for that week
A turn-based strategy mode where turns are optional but consequences are not
These changes will occur automatically each week without prior notice to preserve a sense of discovery and mild confusion. Progression systems will adapt dynamically, meaning your progress may convert into something equally valuable, such as different progression trees. These trees may or may not work. That is part of the fun.
We will also randomize which hero gets which heroes abilities each week, thus achieving a perfect balance and remove the need for future balance patches.
We believe this approach will ensure that the game remains unpredictable, engaging and [i]technically[/i] still the same game.
This initiative is being rolled out independently of the changes listed below, which remain focused on the current version of the game.
[hr][/hr][b]BUGFIXES[/b]
Fixed an issue where certain environments failed to properly support “bugs.” As a result, we’d like to clarify that bugs are, in fact, an extremely diverse group of insects, with over one million described species and likely many more yet to be discovered.
Resolved a visual inconsistency where some bugs appeared to have only six legs, while others were mistakenly assumed to have more; insects are correctly defined by having three pairs of legs (six total), attached to a three-part body structure.
Addressed a rare case where a bug’s exoskeleton was incorrectly perceived as a limitation. In reality, this external skeleton provides protection and structural support, functioning somewhat like built-in armor that must be periodically shed through molting.
Improved documentation clarity around certain “social bugs,” such as ants and bees, which operate in highly organized colonies with specialized roles, demonstrating complex collective behavior without centralized control.
Fixed an issue where fireflies were not adequately recognized for their bioluminescence, a natural chemical process used for communication, mating signals, and in some cases, deterrence of predators.

After community backlash, player profile pictures are reintroduced! Players can pick their profile pictures from a selection of pictures, all characters from the 1983 hit animated series, Care Bears.
We have a new fancy logo!
Cursor was too big and has been reduced by 90%. This is not reversible nor scalable in-game
"Snap to Grid" has been disabled. Every UI element now randomly pick a spot on the screen after each dungeon.
Added different sets of color modes, such as; Retro, Cyberpunk, Edgy, Pastel, Christmas Special, Alien, and more.
[b]CURSES[/b]
Adding a new curse \[Friendly Fire].
[list]When \[Friendly Fire] is active, all damage done can now affect your teammates with a 300% multiplier.
When \[Friendly Fire] is active, Aeona's \[Amend Fate] and \[Restore Continuity] will instead of clearing stagger and heal, clear stagger and do damage to players. Any damage she deals will also be split evenly amongst the players.
[b]DUNGEONS[/b]
\[Wyrmheart] last boss will now narrate the player actions throughout [u]every[/u] dungeon. We felt like the voice actor needed praise for their work.
\[Sailor’s Abyss] now features hot seamen.
\[Wraithtide Vault] also gets the aforementioned hot seamen, but now they are in pirate uniforms.
\[Silken Hollow] now has a bottomless hollow pit in the middle of it. Players that jump into it will fall down until the end of times. This action will lock your PC, and you will be unable to turn off your game as you watch your character fall deeper and deeper into the endless abyss, pondering why you have done such a thing in the first place.
\[Godfall Quarry] Final boss \[Godfall Titan] will have a 5% chance per attack to slip and fall, taking 10% of his max HP as damage.
\[Cithrel’s Fall] Final boss \[Cithrel] will also share this fate.
\[Stormwatch] will now have telescopes randomly placed on the map, where you can take a breath and watch the storm in the skies.

\[Everdawn Grove] got its name changed to \[Everdawn Groove]. It now plays 60’s acid rock and the screen gets distorted from time to time. Players with epilepsy will have the option to remove the screen distortion effect after mailing us a doctors slip with a wet signature that has been signed within a week of application.
[/*][*]\[Urrak Markets] now has player driven shops in it. Every instance will have 10 randomly selected player’s shops, where you can buy loot. If you get selected, you have to enter the dungeon and sit there until the dungeon timer runs out.
[/*][*]\[Empyrean Sands] now gets sandstorms every few minutes, blinding any player that gets in the way.
[/*][*]Dealing AOE damage to civilians in \[Ransack of Drakheim] will give you the debuff \[War Criminal].
\[War Criminal] will taunt the global first Mara to show up and \[Backstab] you with a 10,000% modifier. If the player survives the \[Backstab] their server location will change to Argentina.
To remove the RNG levels of gearing, we are now completely removing dungeons dropping any gear. All players will now have the exact same gear and pure skill will determine where you place on the leaderboards.

Helena got split into two new heroes. \[He] and \[Lena]. \[He] is the same model of Helena but with shorter hair, cannot equip items and has 100 hp. \[Lena] retains all the abilities and stats of the old Helena.
You can now \[Charge] your Fellows. When using \[Charge] on a friendly target you challenge them to a duel to the death. Winner gets a x2 damage increase to their account permanently.

Meiko cosmetics will now have an option to have no shoes. This is for immersion purposes only, since she needs to feel the earth under her feet to be better connected to the elements. We swear that's the only reason. Please believe us.
Meiko will start with 100% haste.
Meiko's Global Cooldowns will now scale with haste.
[list]When getting past 0 second cooldown, you will instead add time to the cooldown, with a max value of 10 minutes. This is to make sure every button press you do matters.

Every Xavian cosmetic will now have an option that comes with \[Sunscreen] and \[Sunglasses]. Sun-rays are no joke.
\[Blinding Strike] will now turn off the players screen for 6 seconds.
\[Brilliant Flare] will turn the screens brightness up to 100% for 10 seconds.
\[Sky Crash] has a 0.1% chance of never landing, leaving Xavian in the sky until the end of the dungeon.

Rime will be renamed to Rhyme. Players who speak in rhymes will get a 20% damage buff.

Whenever a poison ticks on an enemy, Mara has a 0.2% chance to cause a global effect called \[Global Pandemic]. This debuff affects allied heroes as well, and there is no cure as of now. Can you believe it was 6 years ago already?
[list]\[Global Pandemic] will cause the whole dungeon to get the poison debuff \[Global Shutdown].
\[Global Shutdown] - While this debuff is active, all heroes and enemies will lose 20% of their max HP every minute. This effect cannot kill players. This means, after the initial debuff application, players will have 5 minutes until they reach 1 HP.
\[Hemotoxin] is currently overperforming relative to other options in its row. Our goal is to avoid situations where players feel compelled to select a single talent by default, and its presence across all current Mara loadouts indicates a clear imbalance.
As it stands, alternative talents in the same row are not providing competitive value. We are making adjustments to ensure more meaningful choice and to bring overall balance to this tier.
\[Hemotoxin] now scales on Intelligence instead of Agility.
Tick rate is going from every 1.5 seconds to once every 1.5 minutes.
It no longer does any damage to any target (from before being reduced beyond 1 target).
[b]Elarion[/b]
Any projectile Elarion shoots out will now have a 5% base chance to split into 2 after reaching an enemy, to attack another enemy. Each of the split projectiles also have the same base chance, with increasing odds per projectile fired.
Elarion get's a new passive: \[Hunter's Mark]
[list]\[Hunter's Mark] has a 40s cooldown and overrides any current \[Lunarlight Mark] on the target.
When an enemy has \[Hunter's Mark] they have a 10% chance of getting one-shot by Elarion's \[Auto-Attack]. This also works on bosses.
When triggering \[Lunarlight Salvo] while using \[Heartseeker Barrage], there is a 0.2% chance of the arrow bouncing and clearing the whole dungeon. This also works on bosses.

Everytime Ardeos uses one of his abilities, he has a 0.1% chance to trigger the effect \[Forest Fire].
[list]\[Forest Fire] will gradually set the entire dungeon on fire, killing everything it touches. Once triggered, players will have 3 minutes to clear the dungeon or perish to the flames.
Ardeos \[Detonate] will now play the sound effect for all players in the dungeon at maximum volume.

Due to the popularity and community feedback, Vigour now has a bottomless option to match his shirtless cosmetic. If the community likes it, we will gradually introduce shirtless and bottomless options for all heroes. Each of those skin will cost 999.99$.
Vigour drank some milk, the character size is now 6.7% larger.
If the dungeon has 4 Vigours, they can sit on top of each other to create one Giant Vigour. The Giant Vigour will have 25% increased cast time, damage and healing done. In this position, whenever one of them die, they all die.
[b]Aeona[/b]
Aeona can now \[Pause] the game for everyone in the dungeon, including enemies. Aeona will be able to play normally when the game is paused. However, Aeona's damage is now reduced by 5%.
To make up for the reduced damage done, all healing done by Aeona is increased by 60% and her stagger has been increased by 800%
Clothes worn have been reduced by 39%. We felt like she was wearing too much and showing too little.
[b]Sylvie[/b]
Sylvie can now shapeshift into different animals. Each animal will have specific effects:
[list]Squirrel form: 30% increased move speed. Get one shot if someone steps on you.
Falcon form: Grants the ability to fly, cannot use abilities. Now you can watch your teammates die from above.
Goat form: Greatest form of all time. Does nothing.
Sylvie's tail size has been increased by 4.8%.
The weight of her tail reduces her movement speed modifier by 420%
Sylvie can now change the visuals of her \[Boom Shrooms] to miniature versions of Vigour instead.

We are not satisfied with the current performance and reliability of our server infrastructure. After extensive internal review and several emergency meetings, we have decided to transition to a new hosting provider.
Our services will be migrated from our current one to Hamsters Inc. This change is expected to significantly improve server stability during crepuscular periods (dawn and twilight), where their proprietary infrastructure performs at its peak efficiency.
Outside of these hours, users may experience mild to moderate instability as the hamsters rotate shifts, hydrate, and participate in mandatory enrichment activities.
This change is expected to be rolled out over the weekend and we appreciate your understanding and will continue to monitor performance closely.

To increase variety in mounts, players will now be able to mount the tank hero in dungeons. For each player the tank is carrying, they will get a 15% speed bonus, with diminishing returns.
\[Sir Bombastic] is now finally available in the game! It is claimable for anyone who has never left a dungeon/queue.
New mount, called \[Tofu Block] is introduced. To get it, you have to stand still any dungeon for over 6 hours. The mount has 0% move speed.
[b]LOCALIZATION[/b]
\[Bloodrite Drums] have been changed to \[Bloodrite Burger] for the American localization. This also comes with a VFX update of also leaving Burgers behind.
Since the Russians have been misbehaving, all Russian localization have been removed.
New language support added for Pig Latin.

Dungeon completions can now be rated by the participants with \[Pregnant Man] and \[Clown] to make sure we get proper useful feedback for future improvements.
Future patch notes will only be communicated though the use of emojis for a more readable and easy to understand format. This is also to capture a younger audience.
To decrease queue times, the game will now forcefully take over the PC of people who have purchased the game to play the game for them, even if they are AFK.
Leaderboards weekly reset will now be random. This means, everyone will have a fair chance to be in the top 0.1%. Good luck!
For increased transparency, we will set up cameras in the office that steams everything that we are doing to a live feed where you can watch us. We will also be implementing [u]any[/u] suggestions given to us in the chat.
Due to a DMCA claim from a company we can't announce, we have to change the name of the game. The new title is "Of the Ring".
