[p]We have an exciting first half of the year planned out for For The King II! Our third major content drop is on the way and will include an updated fan-favourite mode from the original For The King, Dungeon Crawl: Gauntlet, new characters, cosmetics, traits, and more.[/p][p]We’ve also got some smaller updates coming in the next month or so, with two free cosmetics to celebrate the Year Of The Horse, a new Elemental Orb weapon set, and a new manual save system.[/p][p]Plus, an all-new Character Pack titled "Into The Wild" that'll introduce two new characters, with new weapons, cosmetics, Trait, and more! [p]Last year, we reached out for feedback on a potential save system to help alleviate some of the pressure players felt when exploring Fahrul. Following up on all the great comments and suggestions we received, we have developed a Manual Save System that will allow players to save and reload their adventures at their leisure. This is ideal for players who want to avoid the permadeath mechanic or want to reload after a simple misclick or mistake.[/p][p][/p][p]The Manual Save System will be available on Apprentice and Journeyman modes. For players who want to preserve the original For The King II challenge without manual save, Master is the difficulty to test your mettle and continue the permadeath adventure. [p]For those who may have missed out on the original For The King, Dungeon Crawl makes its valiant return with the new Dungeon Crawl: Gauntlet mode. This new spin on a classic mode tasks players with exploring the depths of Fahrul in a free-form adventure by journeying into multiple dungeons across a randomized map, featuring new bosses, biomes, and a healthy mix of familiar faces![/p][p]This mode will also support a monthly Leaderboard, with a static monthly map seed allowing players to tackle the same layouts for a chance at the best run each month! Similar to our Dark Carnival leaderboard, those top three players each month will be added to the Stone Heroes that appear throughout the game.[/p][p][/p][p]Dungeon Crawl: Gauntlet will be added to the game for free for all players later this year! [p]Another For The King favourite makes their way back to Fahrul with the Dungeon Crawl: Gauntlet update; the Treasure Hunter![/p][p]Bringing their appetite for caches of gold and goodies to the realm of Fahrul once more, the Treasure Hunter joins the fray in hopes of reaping riches from the hoards of wealth buried inside the caves, castles, and manors of the realm.[/p][p]They also bring with them an all-new weapon set to For The King II, Shotguns.[/p][p]These ranged weapons deliver a scattershot of ammunition that’ll be sure to obliterate any wisecracking goblins that may try to impede your progress.[/p][p][img src="https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images//42430794/1193ab92b1f058e4b66d96c7edcd4f1f26a032fa.png"][/img][/p]
Into The Wilds
