Hello everyone, happy Saturday! Here is a little post for some of your questions, and a little extra for the future.

With 1.0 just around the corner and server files releasing as well quite a bit of questions are coming our way. So let us answer some of them:
[olist]
Simple, through Steam. With the release of 1.0, all owners of SCUM game will be able to find SCUM server in the tools section in your library.
So part yes part no. All .ini files will need to be wiped and set again from new. This includes settings, admin users and such. So we highly recommend that you pull and save yours before 1.0 and then you will simply compare and set again. JSONs will work but you will need to edit some blueprints if you set them in economy or loot files.
List of blueprint changes:
Old name//New name:
Bobby_Pin_Pacage//Bobby_Pin_Package
SweetMelons_Seeds//CantaloupeMelon_Seeds
SweetMelon_Seed_Bag//CantaloupeMelon_Seed_Bag
1H_Wrench_Pipe//1H_Pipe_Wrench
CannedFruitCoctail//CannedFruitCocktail
Chilipeper//Chili_Pepper
Weapon_Parts_ImroGrenadeLauncher//Weapon_Parts_ImprovisedGrenadeLauncher
Break_Oil//Brake_Oil
Tomatoes_Seeds//Tomato_Seeds
Construction_Pants_03_Child1//Construction_Pants_03
Lock_Items_Medium//Lock_Item_Medium
Night_Vision_Googles_01//Night_Vision_Goggles_01
Custom zones will have to be set again from scratch.
If you do not have direct access, just ask your server provider, they are allowed to share you these now. And if they are skeptical just share them this :).
We also recommend doing this now, as with 1.0 and full wipe you might loose them!
Yes, your server man.
Indeed, there are plenty of resources available. First one to look at is we have a jsons resources channel in our official DISCORD and there are tons of resources for server settings as well. Not only that but when you connect to your server and have added your Steam ID into the ServerSettingsAdminUsers.ini file you will have ingame UI to do so as well. For other things there will be a post in the near future explaining it more in detail.
It is a though one to answer but you should be able to run it on all modern systems, depending on your system is how much you can crank it on your servers from items available, player count to NPC spawning.

Quest modification.
With the 1.0 update, as already announced there will be a new json for Quest modification. Meaning server owners will be able to create new quests for their communities. We know this one is quite exciting for you and your playerbase and we want to give you a head start in figuring it out, so you are ready when 1.0 releases. So there are 2 new resources available you can go through while you wait.
First one is the ever long document, created by our very own Kuriisu that goes into detail how to and what does what in the json and how to create it, you can find it in ourDISCORD or direct link here
Or you can use a new tool, created by again Kuriisu aka Trohi that will help you do it in a nice visual way! You can find the Tool in our official DISCORD server
