Ahoy Captains!

After a successful public test, we’re excited to announce that Update v0.8 is now live! While this update is still a work in progress, we've already made significant improvements, including the introduction of Tier 3 ships, a new and improved cargo and mission system, enhanced multiplayer and save game integrity, improved navigation and realism, enhanced fishing and processing mechanics, and a significant overhaul of the game's core systems. Furthermore, this update enhances stability and performance, enhances graphics and sets the stage for future expansions, bringing us closer to an even more immersive maritime experience.

While not all planned features or the redesigned UI are included in v0.8, we’re committed to further refining the game in the upcoming patches. Our roadmap will be updated soon. Your feedback has been invaluable, and we’re excited to continue shaping Ships At Sea with your help.

Savegame


Save games from version 0.7.5 should automatically upgrade when loaded into the new version. However, there may be some edge cases. Please note that our save game system creates two separate files: one for player profile-related data and one for game-related data. If you experience issues when loading your save game—such as missing XP, level progress, or certificates—using the Reimport Player Profile function in the player profile menu should resolve the problem.

If you continue to encounter any issues related to savegames or other concerns, please reach out via our support email or Discord channel (Bugs). For save game-related issues, please include your save game and player profile, along with a brief description of the problem, so that we can investigate and resolve it promptly.
