Hey Sailors!
Today, we’re excited to give you a first look at something new coming to the docks in Ships At Sea: a fully redesigned port crane that will soon replace the current Tier 1 model.
The crane currently in-game has shown some apparent limitations—especially during medium cargo operations, where certain cargo items could end up just out of reach. To address this, we’re introducing a much more capable crane based on the real-world design from our license partner Lorentzen Hydraulikk, which we have recreated and modelled. This upgraded crane is built to meet your port logistics needs and will provide a smoother, more reliable cargo-handling experience.

Now that you’ve seen the comparison between the old crane and the new one, let’s take a closer look at what makes this upgraded model such a big improvement. And here’s your improved specs header and list:
???? New Crane Specifications

Width: 1.5 m

Extended reach: approx. 10 meters
