We’ve emerged from the treacherous coils of the Galaxy of Neterun to share our weekly update with you. This dev diary is especially important to us, as we have a major announcement to make.

We will soon be releasing a substantial update that we have been working on for a long time. We have carefully listened to your feedback, because our goal is to make the Hell Galaxy experience as engaging and enjoyable as possible.

This core update includes a deep restructuring of some of the project’s foundational systems. These changes have been developed directly in response to your feedback, with the aim of continuously improving quality of life as you struggle to survive the dangers of Neterun. We want your exile as a raider to feel challenging, but also rewarding, as you explore ancient ruins and confront dangerous creatures.

So what can you expect from this upcoming major update?

First of all, a completely revamped mining system. We are working to make the experience of searching for valuable resources and delivering them to Space Stations as satisfying and clear as possible.

We are also building a more robust save system. For example, we have added the ability to retrace your steps during quests, giving you greater control and flexibility and reducing the risk of getting stuck on certain objectives. We are improving quest flow feedback as well, making the moment a quest is accepted more clearly identifiable, so you always know which missions are available to you, whether primary or secondary.

As with any major update, this release will also include smaller improvements and bug fixes.

We know there is still much to do, but we are eager to share this update with you. It is the result of ongoing work and, in large part, your continued feedback.
