News Liste HELL GALAXY
We’re back with our weekly dev diary to share the most important updates on what we’re currently working on and what you’ll find in upcoming releases. There are several development threads we’re exploring, and we’re happy to share them with you out there, to keep you informed about the ongoing transformations shaping our dangerous galaxy.
First of all, as anticipated in previous patch notes, we’re working on a new environment in the Marianan region. This area is mysterious, dangerous, and ancient, and it will reveal an important part of the past of the Galaxy of Neterun and of the Neterunians themselves. We can’t wait to share it with you. This new location is a key element of the in-game narrative, which is why we want to take care of every detail. Below, you can see a screenshot from an early montage created during the construction of the area. This is a work in progress and does not yet show the final version of the environment, but it gives you a first taste of the alien world that awaits you.

We’re also revisiting the loot system. As you may have seen in one of the latest patches, we’ve already made an initial visual pass on resource meshes. Our next goal is to make resource gathering not only clearer in terms of markers, but also more visually satisfying, in order to improve your overall gameplay experience within the Galaxy of Neterun. To achieve this, we’re adapting resource fragmentation to Unreal Engine 5 standards using Chaos Physics.
Another development thread focuses on new battles that we’ll introduce into the story of you exiles of the Galaxy of Neterun. In this regard, we hope you enjoyed the capital ship encounters we’ve introduced so far. We’re now working on another one: a capital ship that is, in a sense, cursed, as you can see from this work-in-progress screenshot.

This image also represents a work in progress and should not be considered a final version of the ship. However, we wanted to share it with you to show the direction we’re exploring to make this capital ship feel truly cursed… but that’s another story.
We have other things simmering for the long term and additional releases in the planning stages, but those will be the focus of future updates. Until then, may your exile in the Galaxy of Neterun continue without mercy!
