[p align="justify"]Wrapping up the Early Access journey - after over 4 years! - is huge for us. With seven major updates done, Timberborn has evolved [i]a lot[/i]. If you’re a returning player, here’s just a [i]glimpse[/i] at what changed during that time.[/p]- [p align="justify"]The nature-loving [b]Folktails[/b] and the industrious [b]Iron Teeth[/b] are now vastly different beaver factions, with separate food production chains, unique buildings, and technology.[/p]
- [p align="justify"]We implemented [b]3D water physics[/b], [b]3D terrain[/b], and expanded Timberborn’s hallmark [b]vertical architecture[/b] and [b]terraforming[/b].[/p]
- [p align="justify"]We added [b]badwater[/b] and a new dangerous season, [b]badtides[/b].[/p]
- [p align="justify"]We added [b]bots[/b] and broadened the building roster across the board, [b]from workshops to decorations[/b].[/p]
- [p align="justify"]Faction-specific [b]wonders[/b] now complement the game’s sandbox loop as [b]end-game goals[/b].[/p]
- [p align="justify"]We now have [b]mass transportation systems[/b] in place: speedy Ziplines for Folktails and cutting-edge Tubeway tech for the Iron Teeth.[/p]
- [p align="justify"]The game now features [b]16 built-in maps[/b], and the [b]map editor[/b] is better than ever, with our super-active, super-friendly community adding more maps each day.[/p]
- [p align="justify"]Speaking of which, the game now has [b]official mod and Steam Workshop support[/b].[/p]
- [p align="justify"]There are also huge [b]performance gains[/b], [b]UI improvements[/b], and much, [i]much[/i] more![/p]
