In Galactic Hyperthermia, your species longs for the days when the universe was a hotter and friendlier place. By utilizing Crystallized Entropy throughout all facets of your Empire, you will learn how to transfer energy more efficiently than conventional methods, eventually allowing you to terraform planets or even convert stars into red giants.[/p][p][/img][/p][p]In order to progress through the stages of Galactic Hyperthermia, you will need to construct and upgrade a Galactic Crucible. This new megastructure will allow you to harness Crystallized Entropy directly from a star, and will produce Entropy Conduits. Entropy Conduits are produced automatically from the Galactic Crucible, and will allow you to intentionally intensify stars and convert them into Red Giants.[/p][p][/p][p]Completing the Galactic Crucible will not immediately end the galaxy, but will allow you to embark on the final stages of your plan: In the center of the galaxy lie six key systems, and having an Entropy Conduit in each of these systems will allow you to set the galaxy ablaze.[/p][p]

Forged by generations of extreme hardship, Fire Cult Empires believe in survival through unity, and unity through survival. They receive massive bonuses to unity job production on low-habitability planets, as well as special jobs and army types on low habitability worlds. They also gain a new Scourge of the Volcano faction, and a Planetary Decision to create Blazing Scourge Blockers, which lower a planet’s habitability while providing bonus unity, amenities and potentially Volatile Motes and Exotic Gases (if these technologies are researched. [/p][p]
Galvanic Synthesis/Symbiosis/Retrofitting - is available to Infernal Individualist, Infernal Gestalt and Machine Intelligence Empires. These Empires start with Living Metal deposits on their homeworld, and the Living Metal technology already researched. Incorporating this unique material into their technology, they gain access to unique Ship Components, Edicts and a Planetary Decision to harness the unique properties of Living Metal to their benefit. These societies thrive in volcanic environments, and will go so far as to artificially create them when nature falls short. Starting on a Volcanic World, and with extra districts and bonus habitability on Volcanic Worlds. Planet Forgers/Volcanic Nesting Empires can also research and construct the Volcanic Forge, a building that gives Unity and Research production to jobs that wouldn’t normally have them, as well as gradually turning worlds into Volcanic Worlds.[/p][p]
Scorched World Heralds/Pyromanic Instinct - is available to Infernal Individualist and Infernal Gestalt empires. These Empires believe the galaxy is fit only to be inhabited by Thermophiles, and view other species as mere obstacles to that goal. They have limited Diplomacy - similar to Fanatic Purifiers - and gain access to the Cleansing Blaze casus belli, and two new bombardment stances that will help them set the galaxy ablaze.[/p][p]
Read more about the Civics coming in the Infernals Species Pack in Stellaris Dev Diary #403 - Cosmic Dawn, Civics, Infernal Shipset[/p][p][/p][p]Volcanic Worlds [/p][p][/p][p]Rocky world with a sulfur rich atmosphere and a partially liquid lithosphere. The ash and basalt covered surface is interspersed with fresh volcanic activity, lava lakes and rivers. Only extremophile life forms can be found, if any.[/p][p][/p][p]Volcanic Worlds replace their Mining Districts with Magma Conduits, which turn Energy Credits into Minerals and Alloys. They also replace their Farming Districts with Thermotechnic Forums, which add a small amount of Research Output to the production of Thermoforgers, Technicians, Metallurgists, and Artisans jobs. [/p][p][/p][p]Infernal Portraits and the Thermophilic Trait[/p][p]
This species evolved tissues of metallic alloys to grow and thrive on hot planets where traditional organics would cook. These alloyed cells are slower to degrade and are replaced infrequently, delaying the onset of age-related diseases. They also conduct cold temperatures, which can threaten their health in colder climates.[/p][p][/p][p]Your pops will begin with the Thermophile trait, which replaces their food consumption with a small amount of alloys. They thrive on Volcanic Worlds but suffer on colder planets. Under normal circumstances this changes their habitability preference screen, replacing Arctic, Alpine, and Tundra Worlds with Volcanic.[/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p][p][/p][p]The Infernals Species Pack also includes 3 phenotype traits, and 1 non-phenotype trait. Read about these traits, and more in Stellaris Dev Diary #402 - Infernal Pops, Traits, and Volcanic Worlds.[/p][p][/p][p]Get the Infernals Species Pack on Steam, or as a part of Stellaris: Season 09![/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/3283220/Stellaris_Infernals_Species_Pack/"][/dynamiclink][dynamiclink href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/3417870/Stellaris_Season_09__Expansion_Pass/"][/dynamiclink][/p][p]
