New Player Experience
A core focus of Abyssal Depths is supporting Albion’s long-term growth by improving the [b]experience for new players[/b] just entering the game. A new [b]First Steps[/b] category has been added to the [b]Albion Journal[/b]:- This system offers structured [b]post-tutorial paths[/b] for PvE, PvP, and gathering
- Each path gradually introduces core gameplay mechanics, with [b]hints[/b] and [b]visual guidance[/b]
- [b]The full Journal remains hidden until a path is completed, at which point players unlock:[/b] [list]
- A [b]guide[/b] on how to use the Journal
- A set of first-step [b]milestones[/b] to encourage further exploration

Additional changes aim to expose players to more content earlier:
- Tier 3 [b]Tracking [/b]mobs have been added to Blue and Yellow Zones
- A [b]Showroom Island[/b] lets players preview island features without purchasing one
- Item Power requirements have been lowered for the [b]Arena[/b] and [b]Hunter Corrupted Dungeons[/b]

- Improve pacing by showing less text and information
UI Improvements

Learning Point Rework
Abyssal Depths brings a rework of the [b]Learning Point [/b]system.- The 20% threshold for Learning Points has been removed
- Instead, they are gradually consumed, multiplying Fame gains by five on active nodes
- The Auto-Learn toggle has been replaced with a [b]Quick Learn [/b]toggle

- Which nodes are Quick Learn enabled
- An overview of all[b] boosted nodes[/b] by category
- Any skill node with 20% or more progress will be [b]automatically completed[/b] at no LP cost
- Players may wish to progress to 20% on their nodes before the update launches
New Crystal Weapons
This update also introduces the final additions to the Crystal Weapon lineup:- [b]Truebolt Hammer[/b] [list]
- [b]Hyperstatic[/b] opens cracks of magical energy
- [b]Shields[/b] nearby allies
- Applies [b]static[/b] stacks to enemies [list]
- Hitting enemies affected by static triggers a powerful [b]stun[/b]
- [b]Stillgaze Staff[/b] [list]
- Transforms the user into a [b]Crystal Cobra[/b]
- Grants [b]two active abilities[/b] and [b]two passives[/b]
- Features [b]Serpent’s Gaze[/b], a channeled spell that petrifies unmounted enemies [list]
- [b]Petrified[/b] enemies are stunned and cannot be cleansed, but they gain damage resistance and are immune to forced movement
