The Rites of Spring are back in Albion, and this year they’re accompanied by an unprecedented 35% Fame boost!
For a full two weeks, you can enjoy this huge increase on Fame earned through your ingame activities:
- This buff automatically grants an additional 35% Fame for all non-PvP activities
- The buff does not apply to Fame earned via PvP kills and Tomes of Insight, and does not boost the rate at which Challenge Points are earned
The dates for this year's Rites of Spring are as follows:
- Albion Asia (formerly Albion East): March 19 to April 2 (begins and ends with maintenance)
- Albion Americas (formerly Albion West): March 20 to April 3 (begins and ends with maintenance)
Spring’s Bounty
Across the open world, all treasure chests will be sprouting up at a much increased rate for the duration of this event. And in addition, special Spring Treasure Chests will be appearing, containing a host of valuable items and, if you’re lucky, Spring Cottontail Eggs and Eerie Cottontail Eggs.
These Eggs can be raised into the Spring Cottontail and Caerleon Cottontail mounts, respectively. These Tier 8 mounts are notoriously difficult to catch - both in their rarity and their speed - and are simply some of the cutest mounts you’ll ever see. Each come with a unique Hop ability, while the Caerleon Cottontail also has the terrifying Rabbit Frenzy ability. You really don’t want to be on the wrong end of that, trust me.
…And There’s More
On top of all these rewards, Colored Eggs are popping up across Albion again, containing chocolate, Surprise Eggs, and, very occasionally, Cottontail Eggs. Yes, that’s a lot of eggs. And it’s a busy time for Albion’s vanity merchants, who are sure to do a roaring trade in Eggsecutioner vanity weapons, “Bunny Stalker” Wardrobe items, Chocolate Bars, and more.
Phew, that’s a lot of goodies up for grabs this year. Think we need a lie down before the frenzy starts. Oh no, what are those bunny ears coming this way…
